Why is my vehicle of choice not available?
With three locations and nearly 300 vehicles we try and make it comfortable for those looking for certain vehicles. We move vehicles between locations due to customers requesting test rides with the shortest drive time from their home or office. Sometimes vehicles have been sold and have not been removed from our website, this is due to the large number of vehicles we sell monthly and the difficultly of keeping track. All of the sold vehicles are removed ASAP. PLEASE CALL THE LOCATION TO MAKE SURE YOUR VEHICLE OF CHOICE IS AT YOUR REQUESTED LOCATION.

How long have you been in business?
Our family owned business has been helping the Louisville and surrounding communities by providing quality pre-owned vehicles since 1988. We are members of the Bullitt County, Nelson County and Fern Creek Chambers of Commerce and BBB.

Do you take trade-ins?
We take trade-ins on a daily basis. Some people have trade-ins and others do not. A trade-in can be used in place of a down payment or with a down payment.

What is the best way to get information regarding a vehicle I like?
Call the location that the vehicle is at and ask the questions that will get you your answers. You can then setup a time and dates to test ride a vehicle.

Are you a “Buy Here Pay Here” dealership?
We are not a “Buy Here Pay Here” “Pay on the Lot” dealership although we have several very good programs for those who are credit challenged and trying to rebuild their credit. Please see next paragraph.

What type of financing do you have?
We have quite a few banks; (Fifth Third, 1st Fed, PNC, etc.) finance companies, and credit unions to choose from. Sometimes we can even get better rates then you can at your bank because we provide so many customers to them. We also have several financing programs, those for first time buyers and those programs for the credit challenged. Please feel free to go to our website and apply online (with or without a co-applicant). We will process you application and then contact you by phone to answer your questions and discuss your options, or you can call anyone of our locations and discuss your credit with one of the finance people.

What will my monthly payment be?
Determining your monthly payment depends on several things. The cost of the vehicle, the amount you are going to finance, the bank or finance company that is used to finance your vehicle, your credit history, the amount (if any) of your down payment, your trade-in value (if you have a trade-in). With this information we can determine the exact amount of your monthly payment. You can get an idea of the monthly cost by figuring $15 to $40 per $1000 financed.

How much will you give me for my car/truck?
The value of your car/truck is determined by the year, type, interior/exterior condition, mileage etc. We cannot give you a price without seeing and driving your vehicle. If you want an ideal of the value of your car/truck you can go to www.kbb.com and put in the required information and look for “Trade-in Value”. Please be aware that less than 2% of cars/trucks are considered “Excellent Condition”.

Do your vehicles come with a warranty?
Our cars/trucks are inspected for defects before they are offered for sale to the public. Most of our cars/trucks are eligible to be covered by a warranty, all you have to do is ask. Some of our cars/trucks (mostly trade-ins) will not qualify for a warranty because of high mileage.

Do I have to have a down payment?
Not everybody needs a down payment to purchase your vehicle of choice. Whether or not you need a down payment is determined by several things. The cost of the vehicle, the amount you are going to finance, the bank or finance company that is used to finance your vehicle, and most of all your credit history.

How much down payment do I need?
Anything you put down on a vehicle will reduce your monthly payment and lets the bank/finance company and 44 Auto Mart know that you are a serious buyer. Some people need a down payment due to their credit history, others do not.

What about getting a “CARFAX”?
We will provide any of our customers with a “CARFAX” (we use another service called Auto Check) on any of our vehicles at their request. We purchase most of our vehicles knowing their past and we do not sell anything but clean titles (no salvage titles, etc.) We have been serving the community for 20 years and you don’t stay in business that long by not doing the right thing!
